04/04/2019: Spoke to Greg Fulkerson (DO), no longer use Astoria water. JL
11/01/2017: Mike D.: After talking to Daniel Roberts certified operator for New Salem PWD, the Table Grove(Astoria) interconnect is turned off and New Salem PWD¿s 130,000 ground storage tank is going to be drained and turned off. New Salem PWD¿s water supply will be floating off Marietta¿s 110,000 gallon stand pipe. Dan also indicated in the spring that New Salem may be opening the interconnect from Table Grove (Astoria) to feed one customer, the West FS plant, during a high demand period in the spring. Dan stated that New Salem PWD still has a contract to by $5,000 worth of water a year from Table Grove (Astoria). JL
